If youd like to add more detail use a pink marker to draw in the lions inner ears and give it two small rosy cheeks. Color the mask if you chose the black and white template.

Download the lion template print and cut out the pieces.

Cut out a rounded square in the middle of the mane and glue the mane onto the flap of the paper bag. Trace the lions mane onto paper and cut out. The sheet with one head can be used as a base for this craft making it easier for kids to position their leaves to make the lions mane.

Glue the paws onto the paper bag and add lines with a black marker. Affix two googly eyes to the lions head. Printer paper scissors glue something to color with.

Cut out the mask including the eye holes. Colour pieces as necessary. Use the black white printable as a coloring page.

Next glue the eyes to the lion head. Download the lion headband template print and cut out the pieces. Glue the letter l and the lions head feet and tail onto a full sheet of card stock we used dark blue but you can use any color you like to form a lion.

Punch holes on both sides of the mask and attach an elastic string. Cut out the templates and trace the letter l and the lion pieces onto card stock. Begin to make the lion part of the headband by gluing the face to the mane.
